JENEVE FRIZZO

Solicitor, Principal/Director

LLB (Hons) BA (Hons), QLS Accredited Specialist Succession Law

“The laws of succession have always been of intense interest to me. I am fascinated by everything from the writing of wills, and their interpretation, to applications for their rectification, or for orders for wills to be made for people who cannot make their own will.

I love to advise and assist beneficiaries and executors, and to help families resolve inter-generational issues by agreement where possible, or to take steps in the courts to prosecute or defend wrongs.”

A solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, Jeneve has held Queensland Law Society Succession Law specialist accreditation since 2011.

Jeneve has had numerous career highlights, including membership of various professional committees, teaching inheritance law at James Cook University, acting as Associate to a District Court Judge, presenting at various conferences and community organisations and, of course, getting accredited as a specialist solicitor in her practice area. Whilst all these career highlights are gratifying, she says, “Nothing is more important to me than working with an awesome team to meaningfully assist people who are suffering from the deep loss of someone they love, to see that in the midst of their despair and loss, we can help people to know with confidence their legal rights and expectations”.

She has previously led state-based and national teams across multiple jurisdictions. In 2023 Arabella received the Emerging Leader Award at the Queensland Law Society’s Excellence in Law Award Gala, and recently she was recognised as a “Rising Star” solicitor by the peer-nominated Doyles Guide.
